Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Only people who earn a lot of money are successful. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.


Many people think success is based on wealth, fame and power, though many people don't think so. I do not agree with the point about earning a lot of money equals to success. "Money talks," says one saying. That is truth true sometimes, but there are more things that can't be replaced by money.

We can't judge a person who is successful or not by how much he earns. Everyone was once has one time to be born on earth, and the length of life is different. What people should do is to broaden their width view of life. Everyone's needs are also different, so we can't provide the range to limit people to develop.

Having a successful life is alluring. Most people seek for what they want eagerly. For example, some want more knowledge of some field, and the others want more money to enjoy their life. That means some people pursue spiritual life, but some want to enrich their substantial material life. Both choices have their admirers.

All in all, if a person is happy, no matter how much he earns, and he doesn't do bad things, then I will regard him successful he succeeds. That's why I don't think only people who earn a lot of money is are successful.
