Sentiment

In my opinion, studying history and literature or science and mathematics are both important for students. Student should study many different subjects to increase their common senses. By learning various subjects, they can also broaden their view of this world. 

Studying history and literature can cultivate students to have humane temperament. They read history to understand what had happened before, and they can reflect on the past events. People who are good at liberal arts have a high taste of life, and they usually are sentimental. 

However, studying science and mathematics can train people to have a clear mind, and they usually have complicated blueprint in their heads when they think. They have better abilities to understand some logic situations and they always understand one concept totally, so they don't need to memorize but to calculate. 

That's why I think liberal arts and science are both important. No matter what the students are good at, they should have the training from both sides. Then, they are educated and capable of dealing some basic issues in their life.
