     We always say "smile laughter" and "music" are the international languages. Via these two methods, people can communicate with others without misunderstanding. But those two can't make everything perfect. Most countries have their special habits or customs. If we don't understand it, we may touch the taboo. The following are some points about differences between Americans and Chinese.

     First of all, Americans are enthusiastic when they meet strangers and they feel comfortable while making new friends with others. Chinese people are introvert so they can't behave what they really are at the first sight. However, if you are the guests of Americans and Chinese, that's another story. When Americans see their guests to the door, they usually see their guests out inside their house. As soon as the guests are about to leave, the American hosts close their door quickly. Just before you were chatting happily and the next second the door is shut. On the other hand, Chinese hosts will wait until their guests have already left. It is a big contrast.

     Americans are much more independent than Chinese. The adults in Americans always don't live with their parents. Most of them make money to pay their university tuition. They won't live with their parents after getting married. But in China, it is so normal to live at home no matter you are an adult or you have get being married. Chinese people have a closely relationship with their family, while Americans don't haven't.

     Understanding the differences between different countries are helpful for us. If we know the divergence, we know how to avoid the taboo and can reconcile with the embarrassing embarrassed mistakes we may make.
