Wow, I am impressed with your ideas, especially writing English poems! I am interested in poems as well. Though I am not good at understanding its meaning, I hope one day I can learn it by myself.
If you want to learn and read more about English poems, you can go to the library to get some information. I read a book called “Poems just for us” last semester and I think it is an easy start to learn English poems at the beginning.
It is written for the kids and most of them are creative and interesting. I think you will like it.
Though you are not satisfied with your first performance to be a teacher in a class, I still appreciate your good purpose to train yourself. I never think about to be a teacher in a class when I am still studying.
You can sacrifice your time for an experience of teaching. I hope I can have that chance too. You should feel you are lucky to have this chance before being a real teacher. I believe you will get something there. Good luck!
I agree with your opinions about “Truth is sometimes too dizzy for us to see.” Recently I found an example of this sentence. Knowing about truth sometimes is cruel but I think it is better than in the dark. There is no perfect situation, which everybody hopes. We should know the truth as soon as possible and don’t live in the imaginative castle long. Though it is good to know goodness, we should learn watching this world thoroughly.
In last experience to be a 關主, I also made some errors in grading. It is like competition as musical contest for it is one by one. The judges always put the No.1 (in sequence) as a standard. Then judge the following contestant in accordance with the No.1. If he does better than No.1, he can get higher grades then No.1. How about the No.4, 5, 6 and so on? I feel it is quite not fair for No.1 but it has been a problem for a long time. That’s why most contestants don’t like to cast lots to be a No.1 in sequence.
The error I made was that I gave loose standard after an hour the activities were held. Maybe the later students were not as good as the previous students, but they got the same grades. I was afraid it would affect their learning in English.
P.s. I don't know the word "關主" in English. Please let me know if you know how to spell it. Thanks a lot.
